Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. oil, divided
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    Pinch of baking soda
    2 heaping c. self-rising cornmeal
    Buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Spray iron skilled with Pam and 1/4 c. oil.
    Put skillet in oven.
    Place in bowl and mix well:
    3 eggs and 1/4 c. oil.
    Add sugar and baking soda.
    Add 2 heaping c. self-rising cornmeal to mixture.
    Pour enough buttermilk** in meal mixture until really \"soupy.\"
    (Take skillet out of oven and test to make sure grease is hot by placing a drop of cold water in skillet and see if it bounces.)
    Add mixture to hot grease quickly.
    Bake for 15-20 minutes.
