Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. corn meal
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. salad oil
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 jalapeno peppers, chopped
    1 (1 lb.) can cream-style corn
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except cheese in order listed.
    Pour half the batter into greased deep 9-inch square baking dish.
    Sprinkle with half the cheese.
    Add remaining batter.
    Cover with remaining cheese.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes or until done.
