Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    3 large bananas, mashed
    chopped nuts and lemon juice (optional)
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Beat in egg. Blend in sifted dry ingredients and mashed bananas.
    Pour into greased and floured 8 x 4 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes.
