Golden Mushroom Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut into serving size and floured
2 Tbsp. shortening
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 (12 oz.) can mushroom soup
1 c. hot water

Preparation

Coat steak in flour and brown in shortening about 10 minutes on each side. Combine soup and water.
Pour over steak. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and cover.
Simmer 1 hour or until tender. Serves 4 to 6.
