Maine Blueberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks
1/3 c. milk
2 egg whites
1 1/2 c. blueberries
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt

Preparation

Beat egg whites until frothy; add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until stiff. Cream 3/4 cup sugar, margarine, vanilla and egg yolks.
Add flour, sifted with baking powder and salt, alternately with milk. Fold in beaten egg whites, also berries.
