Blueberry Buckle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 c. fresh blueberries
Preparation

Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar; add egg and beat until light and fluffy.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Gently fold in the berries.
Spread in a greased 11 x 7 x 21.5-inch pan.
Top with berries.
