Play Doh - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 Tbsp. Wesson oil
1 tsp. alum
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. water
food color if desired

Preparation

Mix ingredients in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until you can't stir anymore. Remove from heat and pour onto wax paper.
Knead until completely cool.
Store in airtight plastic container.
