Tomato "Pie" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 slices bread, toasted crisp and cut into 1-inch squares
6 medium tomatoes, peeled and sliced fairly thin
salt to taste
pepper to taste
sugar to taste
2 c. mayonnaise
4 Tbsp. milk
1/2 c. cream cheese
4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated (I use medium)
oleo (to grease bottom and sides of 9 x 12-inch pan)
Preparation

Place half of the toast in bottom of well-greased pan. Place half of the tomatoes over the toast. Sprinkle salt, pepper and sugar on the tomatoes to taste. Combine the mayonnaise, milk and cream cheese. Mix well. Spread half of this mixture over the tomatoes. Top with half of the grated cheese. Then repeat the layers with the remainder of the ingredients. Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
