Egg-Asparagus-Mushroom Casserolea Wonderful Friday Luncheon Dish! - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. prepared brown mustard
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 large can green asparagus tips
    4 hardcooked eggs, sliced
    1/2 cup rice type cereal, crushed before measuring
    1/4 cup grated American cheese
Preparation
    Melt butter, add flour and blend well. Combine mustard with soup and add to flour mixture. Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until thick. In a buttered casserole arrange a layer of half the drained asparagus, then half the eggs and half the sauce.Repeat. Refrigerate or set aside. When ready, combine rice cereal and cheese and sprinkle over the top. Place in a 350\u00b0 oven, uncovered and bake until hot through, about 35 minutes. Serves 4
