Twenty-Four Hour Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown vinegar
    2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 c. green peppers
    2 medium onions
    1 small jar pimentos
    3 lb. cabbage, shredded or grated
Preparation
    Boil together the first 5 ingredients.
    Cut up vegetables and combine.
    Pour sauce over cabbage mixture and mix well.
    Best if left in refrigerator overnight.
