Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. Carnation milk
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 block margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pinch salt
    1 c. pecans or more if desired
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cocoa, then add milk.
    Cook on medium heat until soft ball stage.
    (This is when small amount dropped in cold water can be formed into small ball.)
    Stir in margarine until well blended and cook a few minutes longer.
    The fudge should be stirred constantly while cooking.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla and salt.
    Beat mixture until it becomes glossy.
    Add pecans.
    Mix well.
