Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 small can Pet milk
    1/4 c. Karo syrup (white)
    1/2 stick oleo
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix and cook sugar, milk and Karo until soft ball forms in glass of water.
    Take off fire and stir, then add oleo and stir. Add pecans until thick.
    Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper.
    Let stand until hard.
