Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
4 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. sweet milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Bring milk to a boil; set aside.
Mix flour and sugar; add to well beaten egg yolks.
Beat until lemon color.
Mix with scalded milk and cook in double boiler until thick.
Add coconut.
Pour in deep dish cooked pie shell.
Cover with meringue and brown in 350\u00b0 oven.
