Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. soda
1 c. hot, mashed pumpkin
2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and blend well.
Dissolve pumpkin in soda.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Add all dry ingredients.
Add pecans last.
Pour into loaf pan and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
