Skier'S Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hot pork sausage
    2 (1 lb.) cans kidney beans
    1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 qt. water
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bay leaf
    1 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
    1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 c. potatoes, diced
    1/2 chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Cook sausage until
    brown
    and\tdrain thoroughly.
    In a large pot, combine
    beans,
    tomatoes,
    water, onion, bay leaf, seasoning salt, garlic salt, thyme and pepper. Add sausage and simmer, covered, for 1
    to 1 1/2 hours. Add potatoes and green pepper. Cook, covered,
    15\tto
    20 minutes, until potatoes are tender. Remove bay leaf. Makes 8 servings.
