Apple-Raisin Dressing For Duck - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pared, chopped apples
    4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
    1/2 c. seedless raisins
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. stock or hot water to moisten
Preparation
    Combine apples, bread crumbs and raisins.
    Add remaining ingredients; mix lightly.
    (Mixture should be rather dry since apples will add moisture during roasting.)
    Makes enough for a 4 to 5 pound duck.
    Fill body cavity, but do not pack.
    Close with poultry pins and lace opening with a string.
    Bake at 325\u00b0.
