Peanut Butter Bonbons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
3/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 lb. bag confectioners sugar
6 cubes (14 oz.) Eagle Brand chocolate or vanilla flavored candy coatings, melted
Preparation

In a large mixer bowl, beat peanut butter, margarine, vanilla and salt until fluffy.
Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then confectioners sugar until smooth.
Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on baking sheets.
Chill until firm.
With fork or wooden pick, dip each ball into melted candy coating.
Place on wax paper lined baking sheets. Let stand or chill (I freeze them) until firm.
Store at room temperature, freezer or refrigerator. Excellent!
