Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head iceberg lettuce
    1 celery stalk
    1 bunch scallions
    6 oz. can water chestnuts
    2 red bell peppers
    1 box frozen peas, thawed
    Romano cheese
    8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    4 eggs, hard boiled
    2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
Preparation
    In a glass bowl, thinly slice and layer the first 6 ingredients in order as the appear. Chill for a minimum of 4 hours. Top with dressing and layer with remaining ingredients as they appear.
