Granny'S Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 6 qt. popped corn
1 c. margarine
1 tsp. salt
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Pop corn and place in a large roaster.
Combine brown sugar, margarine, salt and syrup in a large pan and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
After it has boiled 5 minutes, add soda and stir rapidly, until caramel foams to 2 or 3 times its volume.
