Ingredients

6 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
1 c. light cream
vanilla extract
chocolate leaves or cookies (garnish with, if you want)
Preparation

In a stainless steel bowl, beat egg yolks and 1/3 cup sugar until thick and creamy.
In a saucepan, scald milk.
Pour over eggs and place bowl over a pan of simmering water.
Stir slowly and continually for 10 minutes or until custard slightly thickens.
