Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    1 c. butter
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. allspice
    1 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. jam
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar.
    Beat eggs well and gradually add to butter mixture.
    Sift spices and flour together.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to flour mixture.
    Gradually add flour mixture to butter and sugar mixture and mix well.
    Mix in raisins, nuts and jam.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until fork comes clean.
