Crescent Chicken Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 c. cooked, cubed chicken
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1 (8 oz.) Pillsbury crescent rolls
    1/2 c. seasoned bread crumbs
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
Preparation
    Blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons butter until smooth.
    Add chicken, salt, pepper, milk and onion.
    Separate crescent roll dough into four rectangles.
    Press perforations to seal.
    Spread 1/2 cup of chicken mixture onto each piece of dough.
    Pull dough over chicken to form a roll.
    Seal ends and edges.
    Brush tops with reserved butter.
    Dip rolls in bread crumbs.
