Maine Corn Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 slices bacon
2 medium onions, sliced
3 c. diced potatoes
2 c. water
1 can cream-style corn
2 c. milk
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cook bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels.
Set aside. Saute onions in bacon drippings until soft.
Add potatoes, water, salt and pepper.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 15 minutes until potatoes are done.
Add corn and milk.
Heat thoroughly. When serving, garnish with crumbled bacon.
