Apple Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg, separated
    2/3 c. milk
    1 c. Rice Krispies
    5 c. apples
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Mix flour, 1 tablespoon sugar, salt, margarine, shortening, egg yolk and milk.
    Divide dough in half.
    Roll out onto 10 x 15-inch cookie sheet.
    Spread Rice Krispies on top of unbaked crust.
    Add apples, 1 1/2 cups sugar and cinnamon; cover with top crust.
    Beat egg white until stiff and spread over top crust.
