Tomato Aspic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped celery
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 bay leaves
    4 whole cloves
    1 tsp. Lea & Perrins sauce
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco
    2 envelopes (2 Tbsp.) unflavored gelatin
    3 c. cold tomato juice
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Simmer\tonion, celery, sugar, salt, bay leaves, cloves, Lea & Perrins
    and Tabasco, uncovered, for 5 minutes in 1 cup tomato juice.
    Soften the unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of cold tomato juice.
    Dissolve this in the hot juice mixture.
    Add 1 cup cold tomato juice and lemon juice.
    Chill until firm.
    May add carrots or olives.\tServes 8 to 10.
