Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    1/3 c. melted butter
    1 heaping c. shelled pecans
    3 whole eggs, beaten
    dash of vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. white corn syrup
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well; pour into an unbaked pie shell (9-inches) and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cool and top with whip cream or ice cream, if desired.
    Even served nothing tops this.
