Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. liquid shortening
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    2 c. plain flour
    3 eggs
    1 c. prunes, cooked and seeds removed
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients
    together thoroughly as listed, one at a time.
    Pour in
    a
    tube
    pan
    that
    has
    been greased and sprinkled with flour.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Remove from oven and
    pour the following sauce over cake while in pan.
