Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. German sweet chocolate cake mix
    14 oz. caramels
    1 stick margarine or butter
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 can Eagle Brand milk
    6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix cake mix as directed.
    Put caramels, butter and milk in a double boiler and melt.
    Put half of cake batter in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Pour caramel mixture on top and pour other half of cake batter over caramel mixture.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top.
    Bake for another 25 minutes.
