Caramel Popcorn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. freshly popped corn
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. each butter or margarine and corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each vanilla and baking soda
Preparation

Put
popcorn
in
large shallow roasting pan.
In heavy saucepan
mix
sugar,
butter, corn syrup and salt.
Stir over medium
heat until boiling.
Continue boiling without stirring 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and soda.
Pour over popcorn, stir to coat well.
Bake in preheated 250\u00b0 oven 1
hour, stirring several times.
Cool, break apart and store in tightly covered container.
