Mother'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cream butter until fluffy.
    Gradually add sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beat well.
    Fold in dry ingredients.
    Pour into pan.
    Put in oven and turn heat to 350\u00b0 and bake about 1 hour.
    Bake in 8-inch tube pan.
