Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped fine
    1 carrot, grated
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Add salt to cabbage; let stand 1 hour and squeeze out juice. Add carrot and pepper.
    While cabbage is standing, make a syrup of vinegar, water, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Pour over cabbage mixture; place in container and freeze.
