Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
5 eggs
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cook sugar and water until light brown.
Pour immediately into pan which is at least 2 inches deep and 8 inches wide.
Cool. Blend flan ingredients in blender or food processor until no lumps.
Pour into cooled flan pan.
Put this into a larger pan with water in it about halfway up on smaller flan pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Cool and unmold or serve from pan.
