Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. coconut
1 c. quick oats
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/3 c. melted butter
2 tsp. milk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. coconut

Preparation

Mix well and spread over cake while cake is still hot and then heat under broiler until topping bubbles up.
Allow cake to cool thoroughly before cutting.
