Caramel Corn - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. oleo
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. light Karo
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
5 qt. popped popcorn
Preparation

Melt butter; add brown sugar, Karo and salt.
Bring to boil for 5 minutes.
Remove from stove and add soda and vanilla.
Pour over corn and mix.
Bake in oven 1 hour at 250\u00b0.
Stir every 15 minutes.
(This dries the syrup on the corn so it will separate.) 250\u00b0 may be too hot in some ovens, so 225\u00b0 or 200\u00b0 might be sufficient.
