Mamie Eisenhower'S Million Dollar Fudge(Original) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    14 1/2 oz. evaporated milk
    4 bars (3 oz.) German sweet chocolate
    1 jar (7 or 8 oz.) Marshmallow Creme
    2 c. nuts
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
Preparation
    Stir together in a saucepan the sugar, butter and milk.
    Boil 6 minutes.
    Place the semi-sweet bits, sweet chocolate (broken up) and Marshmallow Creme in a large bowl.
    Pour the boiling syrup over the mixture of chocolate and marshmallows and beat and stir until chocolate is melted.
    Stir in nuts and pour into a 12 x 8 x 2-inch buttered pan.
    Let stand a few hours.
    Cut into squares. Makes 5 1/2 pounds.
