Broccoli Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 box Jiffy corn meal mix (10 oz. or less)
4 eggs
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. grated cheese (Cheddar)
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli with cheese sauce
1 stick butter
2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, cut fine (optional)

Preparation

Make a nice rich pastry dough.
Cut in 5 or 6-inch squares. Place some cooked apples in and fold over.
Moisten edges to make them stick together.
Fry in deep fat at about 370\u00b0 until done. They will be puffed and brown when done.
Drain on paper towels to get rid of grease.
