Lemon Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or other shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 c. milk
    3 c. plain flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with milk.
    Beat after each addition. Add vanilla.
    Bake in 3 layers at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until done. Frost with Lemon Cheese Filling.
