Microwave "Cracker Jack" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. white corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3/4 (large grocery) sack filled with popped corn
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients in a 1 1/2 to 2-quart microwave dish.
    Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.
    Remove and stir in soda.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Shake.
    Put bag in microwave and cook for 1 1/2 minutes on High.
    Shake.
    Cook another 1 1/2 minutes. Test popcorn and if too sticky or chewy, cook another 1 1/2 minutes.
    Pour into a large pan to cool.
