Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 baking apples (Rome Beauty, Winesap or Golden Delicious)
    brown sugar
    butter
    cinnamon
Preparation
    Core apples.
    Remove 1 inch skin from stem (to prevent skin from splitting).
    Place apples in baking dish.
    Fill centers of each apple with 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon butter and 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon.
    Pour water 1/4 inch deep in baking dish. Bake 30 to 40 minutes at 375\u00b0 until apples are tender when pierced with fork.
