Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli and cauliflower
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
4 bouillon cubes
1 qt. half and half cream
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water (boiling)
1 c. butter
1 qt. water
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation

Cook broccoli in 1/2 cup boiling water; do not drain.
Set aside.
Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in flour to make paste.
Cook 2 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly with a wire whisk.
Add water to flour mixture, stirring constantly. Reduce to low heat.
Add broccoli, cheese, half and half and seasonings.
Heat gently, but do not boil.
Serve warm.
