Piquant Meatballs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. bread crumbs (fine)
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    dash of Worcestershire sauce
    dash of meat seasoning
    12 oz. bottle chili sauce
    6 oz. jar grape jelly
    juice of 1 lemon (about 3 Tbsp.)
Preparation
    Combine beef, egg, bread crumbs and seasonings.
    Shape into balls the size of a walnut.
    Heat chili sauce, jelly and lemon juice in a heavy skillet or a Dutch oven until blended.
    Add meatballs; cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Remove first batch and drop in the rest.
    Stir to prevent sticking.
    Makes about 40 small balls.
    You do not need to brown meatballs first.
