Fry Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 heaping tsp. baking powder
    1 heaping Tbsp. shortening
    1 pt. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cut in shortening, adding water to make dough (consistency of biscuit dough).
    Roll out dough about 1/2-inch thick and cut into 3-inch squares.
    Cut hole in center. Fry in deep fat.
