Norweigian Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 egg, beaten well
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. cornstarch
Preparation
    Melt butter. Add egg and sugar, beating until smooth.
    Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Roll into 1/2-inch balls.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet for 16 to 18 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
