Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
1 c. lard
2 unbeaten eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Roll in balls about the size of walnuts.
Place on buttered platter.
When ready to bake, place on greased tins; flatten with fork and bake.
