Josephines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can Ortega chilies, chopped
    1 clove garlic, chopped fine
    2 cubes butter (room temperature)
    3/4 lb. Monterey Jack cheese
    1 1/4 c. mayonnaise
    6 French rolls
Preparation
    Mix well the chilies, garlic and butter.
    Mix well the cheese and mayonnaise.
    Cut the rolls into 6 or more slices.
    Toast on one side.
    On untoasted side, spread chili mixture.
    Top with cheese mixture and put under broiler until hot and cheese begins to melt.
