Blue Ribbon Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. honey
1/2 orange rind, grated
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
dash of ginger
6 or 7 medium apples, peeled and sliced
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together; pour into unbaked 9-inch pastry shell.
Pat with butter; cover with pastry shell.
Slit top.
Bake in a hot oven (425\u00b0) for 10 minutes.
Turn back to 350\u00b0; continue to bake for 30 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream!!!
