Rich Lemon Sauce For Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    dash of nutmeg
    1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    In a saucepan,
    blend
    the
    butter,
    sugar
    and
    flour; gradually add the boiling
    water.
    Add
    lemon peel and nutmeg. Boil 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
