Shoney'S Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

approximately 2 c. fresh, whole strawberries, washed and drained
1 baked pie shell, cooled
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. strawberry Jell-O
1 c. 7-Up or water

Preparation

Place strawberries into pie shell.
Cook sugar, cornstarch, Jell-O and 7-Up in heavy saucepan until thick.
Pour over strawberries in pie shell.
Chill for about 2 hours.
Top with whipping cream or Cool Whip.
