Gobs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. boiling water
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. cocoa
Preparation
    Bake at 450\u00b0 until firm.
    Cream white sugar, eggs and shortening.
    Add buttermilk, vanilla and boiling water. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and cocoa. Mix together ingredients and drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheets.
    Cool and spread with filling.
