Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch (slightly rounding)
    1 Tbsp. flour (slightly rounding)
    1/2 c. sugar (part white and part brown)
    pinch of salt
    2 c. milk
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. coconut, shredded
Preparation
    Mix cornstarch, flour, sugar and salt.
    Gradually add milk and heat.
    Do not boil.
    Blend into beaten egg yolks and return to pan.
    Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and coconut.
    Cool before pouring into baked pie crust.
    Use egg whites for meringue.
